"Church Community: Streaming the Grace Benefits of the Gospel"

Series: Follow Me Passage: 2 Corinthians 9:6–15

The Gospel is streamed to us via:

1. The Lord's Supper.
2. Baptism.
3. Hospitality.
4. The Word.
5. Prayer.
6. Everyday life.
7. Active listening.
8. Confession.
9. Training.
10. Serving.
11. Protection.

Group Discussion:
1. In what areas of your life do you struggle with being like God the most? Family? Work? Cars? Internet? Television? Disciplining children? Obeying your parents with joy? Being joyful in general?
Why do you think this is so? Could the issue be that you need more of God's grace to give to bad drivers, inconsiderate church members, lazy co-workers? What does grace look like in those situations?

2. What is your immediate reaction when the concept of church leadership and the need to submit to them comes up? Why is this so? Shouldn't the immediate reaction be 'thanks be to God for elders and their protection and leadership'?

3. Why is silence so invigorating?

4. What is it about being on mission that unites believers? What if they are not on mission at all? Does it seems strange to you that someone can be saved and come to know God but have no desire to share this with others? Read Philippians 1:27-31. What does Paul say here about the necessity of mission?
